Samsung has revealed that its new quad-edge OLED panel, which could debut on board the Galaxy S9, has received an award from the Society for Information Display, one of the top honors in the display industry.
According to the Society for Information Display, the quad-edge screen “boasts top-notch technology by adopting a curved design at all sides,” making it a worthy holder of a coveted Display Industry Award.
Samsung is, of course, no stranger when it comes to receiving recognition for its high-quality panels. Earlier this year, its Quantum Dot monitors earned it a slew of online awards and its 4K TVs are often referred to as the clearest on the market.
Not bad going, Samsung.
