Samsung's QLED TV series was launched earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in Las Vegas. Over the past few months, the company has made its QLED TV series available in suitable markets across the globe. The company is adding a couple of models to this lineup today. The latest additions include a massive 75-inch QLED TV that Samsung will be happy to sell you for a staggering $10,000.
Samsung has launched flat and curved-screen models of the 75-inch QLED TV in South Korea, called the Q7 and Q8 respectively, Samsung is yet to confirm when these models will be made available elsewhere and what the price is going to be.
Prices for these new models start at 10.4 million won or $9,292 in South Korea. That's certainly a lot more than what the average consumer will be willing on spend on a television. But then again, it's not like there's not a market for super-expensive televisions.
All models feature Samsung's quantum dot technology which enables the TVs to deliver vivid color regardless of the display's brightness level. Samsung has said today that it's planning to bring its premium TV models to more markets across the globe alongside the 55-inch and 65-inch models previously released.
