Samsung introduced the Coral Blue color option with the Galaxy Note 7 last year. The device didn't survive but the color did. It was very well received and Samsung kept it around even after discontinuing the Galaxy Note 7 by releasing the Galaxy S7 edge in Coral Blue. It's also selling the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in Coral Blue.

Samsung's 2017 flagships are also offered in Midnight Black and Orchid Grey colors. Word on the street is that both of these color options will be offered with Samsung's upcoming flagship. It's also said that the Galaxy Note 8 will be offered in a new “Deep Blue” color option.

How this new color option will look on the Galaxy Note 8 is anybody's guess right now. Customers will certainly appreciate having more choice. The more the merrier, I say, so long as Samsung releases all color options at launch and doesn't make customers wait for them unnecessarily.

The company confirmed a couple of days ago that it's going to officially launch the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23. The launch event is going to take place in New York City. We'll be on the ground to report on all of the latest developments as and when they happen.
