Samsung is yet to announce the availability of the Galaxy Note 8 in India, but the company started accepting pre-registrations for the phablet in the country last week. It's being reported that the phone could be launched on September 12 and the sales could commence from September 25.
Since the price of the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be anywhere between INR 70,000 (about $1,094) and INR 75,000 (about $1,172), the company might be looking to sweeten the deal to make up for the price tag. Now, it is being reported that Samsung could bundle the DeX docking station with the phone. The company could also partner with Airtel and Jio to offer 100GB of additional cellular data to customers with the Galaxy Note 8.
The Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, two 12-megapixel cameras with OIS for 2x optical zoom and background defocus, 4K video recording, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus. It runs Android 7.1 and comes equipped with an Exynos 8895 SoC, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It also features an S Pen, Samsung Pay, iris scanner, and a fingerprint sensor.
