The Galaxy J7 Pro was launched as a more feature-packed version of the Galaxy J7 (2017) in a handful of markets, offering Samsung Pay support and higher internal storage. It was updated with the October security patch last month in some of the countries where it is available, and Samsung is now pushing the security fixes for the month of November to the beefed-up Galaxy J7 (2017).
Galaxy J7 Pro November security patch
The update is rolling out in Paraguay, but it will hopefully expand to other markets in the coming days, especially as the November security patch is an important one. In addition to plugging 61 Android vulnerabilities and six Samsung ones, the November update brings a fix for the KRACK exploit that affects millions of Wi-Fi-enabled devices. There have been no reports of major exploitation of the KRACK vulnerability, but it's an critical fix nonetheless.
