We exclusively reported in December last year that one of the color options for the Galaxy S9 will be a shade of purple. A Galaxy S9 render was leaked last night which revealed that this new color option is going to be called Lilac Purple. Samsung is going to launch the handset with four different color options and what we want to know is that whether you would be willing to give this hue a chance.

Galaxy S9 in Lilac Purple

The four color options for the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ include Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray and Coral Blue. There doesn't appear to be a gold color option even though Samsung has offered it for previous Galaxy S flagships. The company is also going to offer special and limited edition color options in select markets throughout the year.

What do you think about this new Lilac Purple color though? Do you think it's a refreshing change from the black, blue and gold hues that we've become so used to now? Vote below and share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
