We have reported extensively in the last few weeks about the various leaks surrounding the alleged Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018). Though we don’t know if Samsung will use these exact names for the upcoming tablets, the model numbers SM-T595 and SM-T835 spotted in these leaks does make them look like the Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) based on Samsung’s previous model numbers and naming patterns.
No fancy color options
Benchmarks, leaks, and certifications have already revealed a lot about these tablets, particularly the Galaxy Tab S4. If all of that is not enough, we have some exclusive news to share about these two devices. According to our sources, both the alleged Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) will be available in Black and Grey color options at launch. It appears Samsung is not bringing any of its fancy smartphone colors to its new tablets.
Our sources also tell us that these tablets will launch sometime in July or August. If the launch doesn’t happen in July, then there is a strong possibility that these devices will make an appearance at the Galaxy Note 9 Unpacked event. Though Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy Note 9 launch date yet, a report from Korea is betting on August 9.
