Now that Samsung is done with the launch of the Galaxy Note 9, the rumor mill is focusing its energies on the company's next flagship smartphone that's due in 2019. The Galaxy S10 is a highly anticipated device given that it's Samsung's 10th anniversary flagship. If a new rumor is believed, the Galaxy S10 color options may include some favorites from earlier Galaxy flagships.
Galaxy S10 color options
It was reported a couple of months ago that the Galaxy S10 has been assigned the codename “Beyond” at Samsung. The new flagship isn't expected to be all that different compared to the Galaxy S9 in terms of design but this is based on early speculative reports.
The handset is expected to introduce some new technologies, though. It may be Samsung's first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor and one of the models could even have a triple-camera system at the back.
It was previously believed that the Galaxy S10 would also be Samsung's first 5G smartphone but the company recently mentioned that this title will actually go to a separate device. The Galaxy S10 will support 5G but won't be the first Samsung device to do so.
Ice Universe, a China-based leaker on Twitter, claims that the Galaxy S10 color options include black, white, green, silver and pink. If this is indeed the case then black would be the only color it shares with the Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung may not offer the new copper, blue and purple hues that it has introduced with the Galaxy Note 9. The green color is an old fan favorite that was seen on the Galaxy S6 edge in 2015 while silver and pink were last released for the Galaxy S8 duo.
It's still a bit too soon to be sure about the Galaxy S10 color options which will be available once the handset goes on sale next year. We're bound to hear more reports about the handset in the months to come.
