A Samsung Internet 9.0 APK has been leaked online today. It stems from the leaked Android 9.0 for Galaxy S9 build (see all screenshots here) that has surfaced today. Samsung Internet has a dedicated fan following. The company updates it regularly with new features to keep users coming back for more.
The latest version of Samsung Internet brings a new user interface for the browser. The changes are in keeping with the new rounded corner UI elements that will be introduced with Samsung Experience 10.0.
Leaked Samsung Internet 9.0 APK shows off new design
Samsung Experience 10.0 will update the design of many native apps. It's not surprising that the same treatment will also be given to Samsung Internet. There's a redesigned quick access menu in Samsung Internet 9.0 which puts some core features front and center.
The menu can be used to turn on night mode, change the text size, request desktop size and even control add-ons like the content blocker. The night mode will be a useful new feature. It will change the background and text color dynamically on websites without applying it to the images. It would have to be enabled manually as it's not liked with the system-wide night mode that will be present in Android 9.0 for Galaxy S9.
The Android Pie build that has leaked only today is itself an early version with a few bugs and some broken features. Samsung Internet 9.0 may get further improvements in coming builds.
While the Samsung Internet 9.0 APK is available now we have chosen not to upload it on our APK page. There's a good reason for that. Devices not running Android 9.0 can't install this app. As many of you are well aware, Samsung is yet to release Android 9.0 Pie.
