There has been no shortage of Galaxy S10+ case leaks recently. Countless screen protectors and cases/covers have surfaced to provide hints about the design of Samsung's next flagship. One such case now stars in a video that tries to offer an idea about the size of the Galaxy S10+.
Samsung will reportedly be launching three models of the Galaxy S10. They include the Galaxy S10 Lite, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+. The latter will be the largest with a 6.4-inch display.
Galaxy S10+ case video hints at the handset's size
The video has been posted on YouTube by known leaker Ice Universe. It's claimed that the video stars a case for the Galaxy S10+. Several devices are inserted into the case to provide us with an idea of the Galaxy S10+ size.
We can see that it's an almost perfect fit for the Galaxy S9+ and its 6.2-inch display. The buttons seem to fit the cutouts quite nicely as well. The only glaring difference being that of the camera cutout. Samsung will go with a horizontal layout on the Galaxy S10 compared to the Galaxy S9's vertical.
Despite having a 6.4-inch display itself, the Galaxy Note 9 doesn't quite fit into the case because of its larger body. This suggests that the Galaxy S10+ may be able to offer a much larger display in a body that's roughly the size of the Galaxy S9+. It will be made possible by an increased screen-to-body ratio achieved courtesy of the Infinity-O display.
The case does fit the Oppo Find X which also has a 6.4-inch display. This goes to show that significant gains have likely been made in the screen-to-body ratio. Samsung is due to launch the Galaxy S10 series in the coming months. If history is any indication, it may be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in February.
