It was rumored before the Galaxy S10 was unveiled that Samsung might offer the device in a Cinnabar Red color. The render that rumor was based on was fake but it appears that Samsung did have a red color up its sleeve for the 2019 flagship.

New renders have appeared online today suggesting that Samsung will soon offer a new Cardinal Red color for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. These renders come from a source who has been right on many occasions in the past. Hence the reasonable certainty with which it can be said that a new color option is coming.

Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ to be available in Cardinal Red

Samsung often introduces new colors for its flagship smartphones several months after they hit the market. It's an easy way of reigniting sales momentum for a handset that those who wanted to purchase have purchased already. Case in point: the Burgundy Red option which was offered for both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 after they were released.

What's unclear right now is when the Cardinal Red Galaxy S10 will go on sale. It's also unclear if this new color option will be available in limited markets only. Samsung often limits certain colors to select markets and that may very well be the case here. We should hear more about the availability of the Cardinal Red color in the coming days.

What do you think about the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ in Cardinal Red? Would you want to pick one up? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
