Three weeks ago, Samsung released the September 2022 security update to the Galaxy S10 Lite's international version. And the US versions of the phone were missing out on the update. The company has now released the update to the Galaxy S10 Lite's US variant.
The new software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite's US unlocked variant comes with firmware version G770U1UEU6GVI1. The update is currently available on all carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C Spire, Sprint, Tracfone, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile. As per Samsung's documentation, the September 2022 security patch fixes over two dozen security vulnerabilities. The update also improves the device's stability.
If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in the US with an unlocked model, you can download and install the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in early 2020 with Android 10 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 11 update in early 2021 and the Android 12 update in early 2022. It could get the Android 13 update sometime early next year.
