Samsung has released the Android 14 update to the Galaxy M14 5G. The update is now live in several Asian countries. It comes a week after the Android 14 update was released to the Galaxy A14 (LTE) and the Galaxy A14 5G. This is the first major software update for the Galaxy M14 5G, and it could get one or two more such updates throughout its lifetime.
Galaxy M14 5G gets Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update in Asia
The Galaxy M14 5G is getting the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in Iraq, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Tunisia, and Turkey. The update comes with firmware version M146BXXU2BWK8 and brings the November 2023 security patch to the smartphone. It is a major software update, so make sure to back up important data and download the update via a Wi-Fi network.
If you have a Galaxy M14 5G and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can now check for the Android 14 update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually. The update hasn't been released in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka yet.
Galaxy M14 5G One UI 6.0 features
One UI 6.0 brings dozens of new features and design improvements to the Galaxy M14 5G. It introduces a brand-new Quick Panel layout, a new font, a new emoji design language, two new widgets (Custom Camera and Weather Insights), and a new media player widget design with a waveform animation. All the stock apps have also been updated with more features.
