Samsung UK offers AKG Y500 for free when buying one of these phones

Samsung UK is offering a new incentive for customers who might want to buy the Galaxy A50, A70, A80, or Galaxy S10e. Starting today, August 21, and until September 19, ordering one of these smartphones in the UK from the official website will bag you a pair of AKG Y500 wireless headphones worth £129 for free. The headphones will ship within 45 days of validation of your purchase, and you won’t be able to pick a color as the offer includes only the black model.

The AKG Y500 wireless headphones seem to be the preferred choice for Samsung’s smartphone incentives. The same headphones were also offered for free along with Galaxy A80 pre-orders in the UK, so if you’ve missed out on that offer, which ended July 18, then this might be your second chance. Interestingly enough, there’s a similar offer at Carphone Warehouse when buying one of the eligible smartphones on a monthly plan, except it doesn’t cover the Galaxy A70.

With the Galaxy Note 10 series scheduled to hit the shelves on August 23, and with a new Galaxy A series seemingly in the works for next year, it looks like Samsung might want to unload some of its stock. If you need your memory jogged, we think the Galaxy A50 offers exceptional value-for-money, while the Galaxy A70 was dubbed in our review as a “media consumption powerhouse” with amazing battery life. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A80 is kind of a mixed bag that costs a bit too much, while the Galaxy S10e is a great compact flagship. Which one would you pick along with the free AKG Y500 wireless headphones? Drop us a line in the comment section.
