T-Mobile has released an update with the September 2019 security patch for the Galaxy S10 lineup. T-Mobile was the slowest of the major US carriers with previous Galaxy S10 software updates, but this time around, it has beaten other carriers to the punch and is the first to roll out the September security patch to Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ owners stateside.
The latest update for T-Mobile Galaxy S10 devices comes with firmware version G97*UOYN2BSI4 and doesn't bring anything other than the newest Android security patch, according to the changelog. The update is a roughly 200 MB download and is available over the air right now – you can update your Galaxy S10e, S10, or S10+ from the Settings » Software update menu on the device.
OTA updates are usually released in stages, so you might have to wait a couple of hours before it's available for your phone. You can, however, skip the queue and jump onboard the new software by downloading the relevant firmware from our firmware archive (S10e | S10 | S10+) and flashing it on your device using a Windows PC.
Have you received the September security update on your Galaxy S10 smartphone on T-Mobile (or on a different carrier)? Let us know down in the comments!
