After being released in the USA via Xfinity Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon, the Galaxy A51 is now available unlocked on Samsung USA's online shop. ‘Starting today,' the company will be selling the device through Amazon, according to the official announcement, but as of this writing, the unlocked Galaxy A51 has yet to be listed by the company on the retailer's website.
As expected, Samsung USA's online shop offers the unlocked variant of the phone for $399. And with an eligible trade-in, customers can lower the full price by anywhere between $50 and $170. This price corresponds to the model with 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
In case you're wondering, this unlocked Galaxy A51 is the LTE model. Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy A51 5G in the USA at a later date in the summer. However, customers will have to pay extra to get on board the 5G train, as the Galaxy A51 5G is expected to go on sale for $499.
Either way, the Galaxy A51 is a worthy successor to the Galaxy A50. It features a fourth (macro) rear-facing camera, it has a 32MP selfie shooter, and it's powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset. Check the links below for more details.
