Samsung had announced last week that it will launch the Galaxy M31s on July 30 in India. The company had also revealed the design and a few features of the upcoming smartphone via a dedicated teaser page on Amazon.in. However, details such as the screen size, detailed camera specs, and storage variants were missing, which is exactly what a new leak uncovers.
According to a tweet from noted tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Galaxy M31s will be launched in two colors—Mirage Black & Mirage Blue—and two memory configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8 RAM + 128GB storage. The phone will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution and a pixel density of 407ppi.
In terms of imaging, the phone is said to come with a 64MP wide-angle camera with F1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide camera with F2.2 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with F2.4 aperture, and a 5MP macro camera with F2.4 aperture. At the front, the phone will reportedly sport a 32MP selfie camera (F2.2 aperture) inside the center-aligned punch-hole cutout.
The leak also confirms that Samsung will equip the Galaxy M31s with the tried-and-tested Exynos 9611 processor. Samsung had already revealed that its upcoming mid-range smartphone will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. We can expect the phone to feature an in-display fingerprint reader, LTE, dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi ac, and Bluetooth 5.0.
