Since the pandemic led to the closure of gyms and sporting facilities across the globe, people have to get their workouts in at home. Fortunately, there are a variety of tools and services available that can help in that regard.
With demand for wearable activity trackers increasing because of this, Samsung today unveiled the new Galaxy Fit 2. The company says that its latest activity tracker can last for up to 15 days on a single charge and that it's further extendable to 21 days depending on settings and conditions.
Galaxy Fit 2 offers activity tracking on a budget
The Galaxy Fit 2 has a slim and lightweight design. It provides advanced tracking features as it's capable of automatically detecting and tracking up to five different types of activity. The insights that it can provide include calories burned, heart rate, distance and more. Sleep tracking is also present, the Galaxy Fit 2 can provide a daily analysis of your sleep and also provide a unique Sleep Score.
The groove design of the Galaxy Fit 2 helps reduced sweating while the 1.1-inch AMOLED 3D glass display gets more than 70 different face options that let you add a touch of customization to the device. The 159mAh battery is said to be good for at least 15 days on a single charge, making the Galaxy Fit 2 the perfect option for those who don't need a smartwatch but would prefer wearing something that helps them meet their fitness goals.
The device itself is made from plastic, it's IP68 water resistant and weighs just 21g. The Galaxy Fit 2 is compatible with Android handsets running version 5.0 or later with 1.5GB of RAM and iPhone 7 or later models running iOS 10.0 and up.
