Samsung started teasing a newer version of the Galaxy M31 for the Indian market last week. The company has now revealed it to be the Galaxy M31 Prime Edition, and it is exactly similar to the Galaxy M31 in terms of hardware specifications. The only difference between the two phones is a lower starting price for the Galaxy M31 Prime Edition. It could become available for purchase later this week during Amazon's annual shopping event.
The new smartphone will be available exclusively through Amazon India, and it comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 64GB storage variant is priced at INR 16,499 (around $225), but the 128GB variant's price hasn't been revealed yet. The device also comes with a 3-month membership to Amazon Prime and one-swipe Amazon access. In comparison, the regular Galaxy M31's 64GB variant is priced at INR 17,499 (around $240).
