Samsung's upcoming affordable smartphone, the Galaxy M12, had recently received Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications. The design, dimensions, and screen size of the smartphone were leaked a few weeks ago. Now, the phone's processor, RAM, and operating system version have been revealed.

The Galaxy M12 has appeared in Geekbench's database, revealing that it uses the Exynos 850 processor and 3GB RAM. The phone appears to be running Android 11, so we expect it to feature One UI 3.0 out of the box. The Exynos 850 (S5E3830) is an 8nm SoC for entry-level smartphones. The processor features eight Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz, the Mali-G52 GPU, and support for LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M12 with a quad-camera setup, but the resolution of those camera sensors hasn't been revealed yet. The phone is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi b/g/n for wireless connectivity. It is rumored that the Galaxy M12 will come powered by a 7,000mAh battery.

Leaked 3D CAD renders of the upcoming smartphone revealed that the Galaxy M12 sports a 6.55-inch Infinity-V display. However, it remains to be seen if it uses a Super AMOLED panel or an LCD screen. The phone measures 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
