Bixby Routine is a niftly little feature that has been around for a couple of years. It enables you to create automated tasks by leveraging the IFTTT (If This Then That) principle. You're able to program your phone to take perform certain tasks automatically when the set conditions are met.
Here are a few examples of how Bixby Routines can be used to make your life easier. Samsung is taking things one step further now with the launch of a new Good Luck module that allows for additional customization of Routines.
Routine+ is the newest Good Lock module
With the new Samsung Routine+ Good Lock module, you'll be able to add more advanced featured to Bixby Routines in order to create routines that are more effective. New conditions have been added that can trigger responses, these include unlocking the device with your fingerprint, an Air action using the S Pen or a Button action.
The list of actions that take place in response to the condition being met has been expanded to. The new actions include reading text out loud, Touch macro and Arrow key. It's now also possible to share your routines with fellow Routine+ users.
Samsung recommends that users have Android 11 and One UI 3.1 or later installed on their device when using Routine+ for a better user experience. The Routine+ module is available for download from Samsung's Galaxy Store.
