The June 2021 security update has started deploying to certain variants of the Galaxy A21s. Identified by PDA version A217MUBS6CUF4, Samsung's latest software release has just made its way to Brazil, where it started rolling out earlier today. The recent addition of Android 11-based One UI 3.1 appears to have slowed things down a bit on the security update front, given how we'd only spotted the April 1st update earlier this month.
Things seem to be returning back to normal now, on account of the June 1st security patch level reaching the Galaxy A21s while we're still in, you know, June. Speaking of which, this month's security update has been rolling out all over the world for nearly a month by now. All throughout that period, Samsung started 145 other deployments spanning more than a 100 devices across 35 countries, present company not included.
Has the June 2021 security update reached your Galaxy A21s already?
Released just last year, the Galaxy A21s is expected to keep enjoying a steady flow of security updates for about three more years. And if you're eager to get things going with this particular release, consider an attempt to trigger a manual installation right from within your Settings app. Just scroll to the bottom, tap the Software update option, and then select the Download and install item on the following screen.
If that doesn't work (and if you aren't located in Brazil, it probably won't right this very second, for obvious reasons), consider downloading the full system images equipped with the latest security update directly from our firmware archives, then flashing those to your device manually using a Windows PC and a bit of technical know-how.
