The Galaxy A31 is the latest smartphone from Samsung to get the July 2021 security update. The company started the rollout of the latest security patch last week when it updated the Galaxy S10 series. Later, the update reached the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold, and the Galaxy A52.
Samsung has released a new update to the Galaxy A31 in Brazil. It carries firmware version A315GDXU1CUG1 and includes the July 2021 security patch. Apart from fixing privacy and security-related vulnerabilities, the new firmware should also fix the Android Auto bug that some users were facing on Galaxy smartphones. The update could roll out to the Galaxy A31 in more countries over the next few days.
