The July 2021 security patch is now making its way to some Galaxy A52 models in Europe – or Eurasian region, to be specific – where it began deploying earlier today. This is happening just under a week since the first models started arriving to this month's security update party. This particular software is identified by model number A525FXXS2AUF4, meaning the international models of the Galaxy A52 are now definitely part of the latest security patch rollout from Samsung.
Speaking of which, the July 2021 security update has been deploying the world over for nearly two weeks now. And throughout that period, Samsung greenlit 59 other deployments across 25 countries.
Has the July 2021 security update reached your Galaxy A52 already?
So, things have definitely gone global by now. But if that isn't the case on your end, you have a couple of options at your disposal in order to try speeding things up, to a degree.
First of all, you can try triggering the installation on your own in case the deployment already started in your vicinity. To do so, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Due to obvious reasons, this option is most likely to work if you're located in Caucasus Countries, or another country wherein the rollout has already begun. But if that doesn't work and you have a Windows machine at your disposal, there's also the option of downloading full system images containing the new software from our firmware archives, then manually flashing them to your device.
And as for those who end up trying to do things manually: do not forget to back up your data. Other than that, enjoy the peace of mind that comes from rocking the latest security updates from Samsung and Google.
