Samsung had introduced the 2021 version of its lifestyle TV, The Frame, earlier this year. However, the TV was only available in screen sizes from 43-inch to 75-inch. Now, the company has launched an 85-inch version of The Frame in South Korea, and it will eventually be launched in more markets around the world.

The 85-inch version of The Frame is priced at KRW 6,690,000 (around $5800) in South Korea. This new variant is already being showcased in Samsung Digital Plaza stores across the country. The company is also showcasing the 65-inch version of The Serif lifestyle TV that was introduced last week. The Frame comes with a wooden bezel by default, but you can customize the TV with magnetic bezels in various colors and finishes (beige, brown, teak, and white) displayed in the image below.

The Frame 2021 features

The 2021 version of The Frame TV is 50% slimmer than the 2020 version. It features a Slim Fit Wall Mount design, which means that the TV sits extremely flush with the wall. You can also set it up on a table since this version of the company's lifestyle TV comes with a table mount. It is a 4K QLED TV with HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, a 120Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. You can display your own pictures or any famous art piece from Samsung's library of more than 1,400 pieces of art. Samsung's Art Store consists of paintings and artwork from world-famous artists across different eras.

The Frame TV features Quantum Processor 4K and it runs the Tizen operating system. It has apps for all the famous audio and video streaming services. It features Alexa, Bixby, and Google Assistant as well. It has a motion sensor to turn the TV on automatically when you enter the room. Its brightness and audio sensors adjust screen brightness and TV volume as per the ambient conditions. It has a 40W 4-speaker setup, auto low-latency mode, Game Bar, Super Ultrawide Game View (21:0 and 32:9 aspect ratio while gaming), and a 400 x 400 VESA mount.

It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, an ethernet port, and HDMI CEC. It has Microsoft 365, Remote PC, and Wireless DeX for productivity. Other features of the TV include Adaptive Picture, Ambient Sound+, SpaceFit Sound, Q-Symphony, Object Tracking Sound Lite, Multi View, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 with LE, NFC, Samsung Health, Samsung TV+, SmartThings, and a solar-powered remote controller.
