Samsung's commitment to providing three major OS updates for its smartphones is one that other manufacturers can't beat. It's not just all of the company's flagships launched since 2019 that are eligible for three big Android and One UI upgrades – Samsung has also included mid-rangers like the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy A72 in its new software update policy. And now, we can add another device to the list: the Galaxy A52s.

The Galaxy A52s runs Android 11 with One UI 3.1 out of the box, and it's eligible to get updates until Android 14. As far as security updates are concerned, you're looking at four years of support. Like the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G, the Galaxy A52s is likely to get monthly security patches for the first couple of years. Great software support is in store for the Galaxy A52s, in short, and that is easily one of the best reasons why you might want to pick one up.

The other big reason is all the horsepower under the Galaxy A52s' hood. The A52s is powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 778G processor, which offers performance that's closer to what you can expect from Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon processors than the chips that power the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G (the Snapdragon 720G and 750G respectively).

The Galaxy A52s also comes with all of the features that make the Galaxy A52 5G so great. It has a 120Hz Super AMOLED screen, IP67 water and dust resistance, OIS-enabled 64MP main camera, 4,500 mAh battery with 25W charging, and stereo speakers. The phone is already on sale in a few markets around the world, and you can check availability in your country by visiting Samsung.com.
