The Galaxy S20 FE was the first smartphone to get the September 2021 security update. Over the past couple of weeks, the update was also released to the Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Flip series, Galaxy A52, and the Galaxy A72. Now, the update has been released to the Galaxy S10 series.
The Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ are getting new updates with firmware version G97xFXXSCFUH5 in Switzerland. It includes the September 2021 security patch along with general bug fixes and device stability improvements. The South Korean firm is yet to publish detailed documentation related to its latest security patch.
If you are a Galaxy S10 series smartphone user in Switzerland, you can download the latest software update for your device by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware file for your device from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows computer. Samsung could expand the software update rollout to more markets over the next few weeks.
The Galaxy S10 series was launched in February 2021 with Android 9 Pie-based One UI. The smartphones in the series received the Android 10-based One UI 2.0 update in late 2019 and the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update earlier this year.
