Samsung unveiled the Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor in June 2022. Back then, the gaming monitor was available in only 32-inch display size. A couple of days ago, however, the company introduced the 43-inch variant of the Odyssey Neo G7 in South Korea. Now, Samsung has launched the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor in Taiwan as well. The new monitor from Samsung has model number LS43CG700NCXZW in Taiwan, and it has a ton of features.
43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 has a Mini-LED backlight
The Odyssey Neo G7's 43-inch version has a 42.5-inch 4K VA LCD panel with a quantum dot layer and a Mini-LED backlight. Samsung calls the combination of the two technologies ‘Quantum Mini LED'. This is a 10-bit screen that covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. There’s also HDR10+ onboard. According to Samsung, the monitor has a peak brightness of 600 cd/m2, and it is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified. The display has a 144Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time with support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
Unlike most other gaming monitors out there, the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 comes with a full-fledged operating system: Tizen OS. There are a ton of apps available for this platform, including Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, and YouTube. In addition to that, the monitor features dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, Apple AirPlay 2, two inbuilt speakers in a stereo configuration, and it even comes with remote control, which means that you can perfectly use the monitor as a TV when you are not gaming on it.
Speaking of connectivity, the monitor gets two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, one USB Type-B 3.0 port, and a headphone jack. To enhance the gaming experience, Samsung has also equipped the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 with many gaming-oriented features, such as Game Bar 2.0, Game Mode, and Ultrawide Game View. The stand it comes with allows you to tilt the display from -2 degrees to 20 degrees. There is, however, no swivel, pivot, or height adjustment option.
The 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 has a white-colored back panel and ships with a white-colored remote, making it an amazing choice for people who have an all-white gaming PC or interior space.

Samsung has priced the monitor at NT$39,900 in Taiwan, and it is currently available for pre-order from Samsung’s official online store for the country.
