Samsung started rolling out the November 2021 security patch to its smartphones in the last week of October. The Galaxy S21 was the first phone to get the new security patch, and it is now the Galaxy Note 20's turn to get the update. The new software update is currently rolling out in the UK.

Apart from general bug fixes and device stability improvements, the new update also contains the November 2021 security patch. According to Samsung's own documentation, the latest security patch fixes dozens of software vulnerabilities related to privacy and security.
