After releasing the One UI 5.1 update to its high-end smartphones and premium mid-range devices, Samsung has started expanding the update's reach to more mid-range smartphones. The latest mid-ranger from Samsung's lineup to get the One UI 5.1 update is the Galaxy A23.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A23, which comes with firmware version A235FXXU2CWB4, brings One UI 5.1 and the February 2023 security patch. The update is currently available in Ukraine and could expand to more European countries within the next few days. Other countries worldwide could get the update within the next few weeks.
If you are a Galaxy A23 user in Ukraine, you can install the One UI 5.1 update on your smartphone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also choose to download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually to install the One UI 5.1 update.
What's new with Galaxy A23 One UI 5.1 update?
The One UI 5.1 update brings improvements to the stock apps. The camera app now lets you easily choose the selfie color tone. The Gallery app lets you swipe up an image or video to view and edit its EXIF information. The AR Emoji feature lets you mask AR emojis on up to three faces in an image simultaneously. There are new battery and dynamic weather widgets.
