Samsung has started rolling out the April 2023 security update to two more mid-range Galaxy smartphones: Galaxy A31 and Galaxy A32 5G. These smartphones have started getting the new security update in some countries and are expected to get in the remaining countries within the next few days.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A31 (SM-A315G) comes with firmware version A315GDXS2DWD1, while the Galaxy A32 5G gets this update with firmware version A326BXXS5CWD5. The Galaxy A31 is getting the April 2023 security update in Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, and Mexico. The Galaxy A32 5G is getting the update in Peru, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Philippines, the UK, and Vietnam.
The April 2023 security patch included in this update brings fixes for over 60 security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones. The update might also bring support for the Galaxy Buds Pro lock screen widget. It might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you have a Galaxy A31 or the Galaxy A32 5G in any of the respective countries mentioned above, you can download and install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the respective firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
