After releasing the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy A23, Galaxy A33, and Galaxy A52 5G, Samsung has started rolling out the new security update to the Galaxy M53 5G. This mid-range smartphone has started getting the new software update with bug fixes in some Latin American countries.
The latest software update for the Galaxy M53 5G comes with firmware version M536BXXS2CWD1 in Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama, and Peru. Other countries in the region will get the update soon. Over the next few weeks, Samsung will also release the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy M53 5G in other parts of the world.
The May 2023 security patch fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
