Samsung has released a new security update to various mid-range and high-end smartphones over the past few weeks. Today, the company has released the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy M52 5G in various Latin American countries. Other countries could get the update within the next few days.
The latest software update for the Galaxy M52 5G comes with firmware version M526BXXS2CWE3. It is currently available in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru. It features the May 2023 security patch that fixes over 70 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones and tablets. It doesn't bring any new software features, though.

If you live in any of the countries mentioned above and have the Galaxy M52 5G, you can check for the new update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M52 5G in mid-2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It could get the Android 14 update sometime later this year.
