A couple of weeks ago, Samsung released the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy M52 5G in Latin America. Now, the South Korean firm is expanding the reach of the new security update to European countries. The new software update could expand its availability to more regions over the next few days.
The latest software update for the Galaxy M52 5G comes with firmware version M526BRXXU2CWD1. The update is currently available in Poland, and other European countries could soon get it. The update brings the May 2023 security patch to the smartphone, which fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy devices. It might also include general bug fixes and bring the Image Clipper feature to the device.
If you have a Galaxy M52 5G and if you live in Poland, you can check for the new update now. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. You need a Windows PC and the Odin tool for the manual firmware flashing process.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M52 5G in the second half of 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It could get the Android 14 update later this year, and that could be its latest major Android OS update.
