The latest software update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra bumps up the firmware version to S90xBXXU5CWEA. The update is currently available in the UK. It includes the June 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones and tablets.

If you have a Galaxy S22 series smartphone in the UK, you can now check for the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra early last year with Android 12 onboard. The phones received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update late last year and the One UI 5.1 update earlier this year. The phones will get the Android 13-based One UI 6.0 update in a few months from now.
