A few days ago, Samsung released the July 2023 security update to the Galaxy A52s 5G in European countries. Now, the company is expanding the availability of the update to the Galaxy A52s 5G to more regions, including countries in Asia.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52s 5G bears firmware version A528BXXS4EWG2, and it is now available in India. The new update has a file size of around 255MB, and it brings the July 2023 security patch that fixes over 90 security vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software. We expect the update to be released in more Asian countries within the next few days.
If you have a Galaxy A52s and if you live in India, you can now download the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. You would need a computer running a Windows operating system and the Odin tool to flash the firmware manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G in mid-2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It will get the Android 14 update later this year.
