Telegram has finally released a big update to its instant messaging app, bringing one of the most requested features: Stories. On its tenth anniversary, the instant messaging app has brought several new features, including Stories, Dual Camera Mode, and improved privacy features. You can install the new Telegram update on your Galaxy smartphone right away.
Telegram has admitted that Stories was the most requested feature, and it is now live for everyone. It allows you to share the most important moments with your friends and family members and will enable you to quickly check their important moments easily. But Telegram has added more features to Stories than Instagram and WhatsApp. You can react to stories using emojis or text. You can also use the Dual Camera feature to simultaneously capture images or videos using the front and rear cameras and add them to Stories.
Captions, locations, and several stickers can be added to Stories. The length of the video can be edited using the video editor, and you can even set expiry and privacy for your Stories. For example, you can set your Story to delete itself after six hours and be visible only to your list of best friends. Privacy options for Stories include Everyone, My Contacts, Close Friends, and Selected Contacts. You can even allow or disallow people from capturing screenshots of your Stories. You can even post Stories on your profile, making it look like an Instagram profile.
Stories that you highlight will be saved forever on your profile page. Moreover, editing Stories is possible, too, something that isn't available on Instagram and WhatsApp. You can change the visibility, text, stickers, and other elements in Stories on Telegram. You can even have a look at detailed statistics about your Stories, as you can sort views and check who viewed your story at what time.
