Earlier today, Samsung published details about its new security update. Now, the company has released the September 2023 security update to the Galaxy A14 5G. More phones will gradually start getting the new security update.
Galaxy A14 5G September 2023 security update: What's new?
The newest update for the Galaxy A14 5G is available in Malaysia. It comes with firmware version A146PXXU4BWH4 and brings the September 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security flaws found in the previous software version. According to Samsung, security flaws in the Samsung Keyboard app, Knox, and Calls & Messages storage have also been fixed.
Looking at the firmware version, this new software doesn't seem like just a security update. Samsung may have fixed some other bugs and improved the stability and reliability of the Galaxy A14 5G.
If you have a Galaxy A14 5G and live in Malaysia, you can check for the new update. To do that, open the Settings app on your phone, navigate to Software update, and then tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
