We are still months away from the possible launch of the Galaxy S24, but several details about Samsung's upcoming high-end phone series have been leaked already. After a near-perfect high-end smartphone lineup in the form of the Galaxy S23 series, it is hard for Samsung to come up with an even better smartphone. But at least for potential Galaxy S24 Ultra buyers, Samsung could be bringing in a good surprise.

Galaxy S24 Ultra could use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in all countries

It was rumored that Samsung will bring back Exynos chips with the Galaxy S24 series. Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra units in China and the US were rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. In contrast, those units in other countries were expected to ship equipped with the Exynos 2400 chipset. This would disappoint fans enjoying excellent performance and battery life on their Galaxy S23 series phones, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor. However, it is now claimed that all Galaxy S24 Ultra units, regardless of country or region, would exclusively use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve) has claimed that all Galaxy S24 Ultra phones will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, M13-based LTPO Super AMOLED screen (possibly 6.8-inch) with a variable 120Hz refresh rate, and a minimum of 16GB RAM. This phone is rumored to feature at least 256GB storage and go as high as a whopping 2TB storage.

Rumored Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra specifications

The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ might use the Exynos 2400 chip in some countries and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in others. These phones reportedly have 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. They will reportedly also feature the similar LTPO Super AMOLED panel as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, albeit in smaller sizes (6.1-inch for Galaxy S24 and 6.7-inch for Galaxy S24+). All three phones are expected to feature QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x screens, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E/7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will come with a built-in S Pen, a titanium body, and sharp corners. It could have a 200MP primary camera (ISOCELL HP2X), a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ could have a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S24 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ uses a 4,900mAh battery. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery. The Galaxy S24 could still use 25W fast charging, while the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra feature 45W fast charging. All three phones could have 15W fast wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. These phones might also feature two-way satellite connectivity for messaging in emergencies.
