After announcing the Wear OS app in July, along with the launch of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, Amazon-owned audiobook service Audible has finally launched its Wear OS app. The official Wear OS app is now available on the Play Store and supports offline downloads, and you can adjust the playback speed of the podcast you are hearing.

Moreover, the Audible Wear OS app lets you pick audiobooks from your library straight from your Galaxy Watch running Wear OS. As per Google, the Audible Wear OS app will allow users to listen to their favorite audiobooks right from their wrists without fiddling with their smartphones to do the same.
During the launch of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, where Wear OS 4 was also unveiled, the South Korean company announced that the popular audiobook service Audible would be coming to Wear OS. However, there was no timeline revealed. After a few months, we have the app in the flesh.
The Audible Wear OS app could be a boon for its users because now you can easily control the app right from your wrists. This gives you time to get unplugged from your phone, and you can enjoy audiobooks from a wide range of genres and even hop onto the realms of sci-fi & fantasy with best-selling authors like Neil Gaiman and John Scalzi.
