Samsung has launched a new Galaxy M34 5G storage variant in India. The mid-range smartphone is now available in the 256GB storage version, priced at INR 24,499 ($294) in the country. However, during the ongoing festive period, Samsung is selling this new storage variant for just INR 20,999 ($252). Additionally, buyers can get an INR 2,000 ($24) discount if they buy the phone using an HDFC Bank card.
The Galaxy M34 5G was initially launched in India in July 2023, and it was available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. Now, four months after the launch, Samsung has introduced the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The phone will be available in Midnight Blue, Prism Silver, and Waterfall Blue colors. Galaxy M34 5G comes with a promise of four Android OS updates
The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Dolby Atmos audio. It has the Exynos 1280 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a microSD card slot. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy M34 5G has a 13MP front-facing camera with Full HD video recording. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera can record 4K videos at 30fps. Its connectivity features include GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will get four Android OS updates (up to Android 17).
