It's been a few days since Samsung started rolling out the One UI 6.0 Android 14 update for compatible devices. The Galaxy S23 series was the first lineup from Samsung to receive the update. With more than 15 million units sold across the globe, this lineup alone brings the joy of the latest firmware update to a large number of Samsung Galaxy users across the globe.
Now it's only a matter of time before the update is rolled out to eligible devices. There are quite a few of them which means that once the rollout is completed, more than 100 million Galaxy devices will be updated to the latest version of Android and Samsung's One UI.

Courtesy of the fact that many Samsung devices now get four years of Android OS upgrades, there are many older generation devices that will receive this update as well. New button layout in Quick Panel
One UI 6.0 brings a new button layout for the Quick Panel, making it very easy to access the features you use most frequently. For example, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi now have dedicated buttons at the top of the screen. Lesser used features like Eye comfort shield have been moved to the bottom. There's a customizable area in the middle where you can pick and choose the buttons.
Improved notification sorting
We use dozens of apps and those apps send dozens of notifications. It often feels like a chore to sort through them, as notifications that just came in get buried under a mountain of previous notifications. One UI 6.0 brings an improved way of sorting through them by enabling you to sort notifications by time. This ensures that you can always find the most recent notification easily no matter how many of them are already in the queue.
Transcribe calls with Bixby
One UI 6.0 makes it very easy to transcribe your phone calls with the Bixby Text feature. When enabled, this feature converts what the caller is saying into text. It even lets you type text responses that are then played back to the caller in Bixby's voice. In the past, it was only possible to enable Bixby Text before the call was picked up, but now you can enable it during a call as well.

We'll see Samsung release the One UI 6.0 Android 14 update to more devices in the coming weeks. The Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip foldables will likely be next in line before other flagship lineups like the Galaxy S22 get it.
