The Galaxy S23 FE is now getting its first software update in the US, a few days after it launched in the country. The phone was announced last month, but it went on sale in only a handful of countries back then. A few days ago, it finally launched in the US and is now getting the November 2023 security update.
Galaxy S23 FE gets November 2023 security update in the US
The latest software update for the Galaxy S23 FE is now available in the US with firmware version S711USQS1AWK3. It is meant for the carrier-locked version of the smartphone and brings the November 2023 security patch. It brings fixes for 65 security flaws but doesn't bring any new features. The update is currently available on AT&T and Cricket's cellular networks in the US.
If you have a Galaxy S23 FE and live in the US, you can now check for the new software update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and clicking Download and install. You can also download the newest firmware file for your phone's model number from our database and flash it manually if you have a computer running the Windows OS and the Odin tool.

The Galaxy S23 FE was launched in India and the US with Android 13-based One UI 5.1 onboard. It will likely get the Android 14-based One UI 6 update before the end of this year. In Europe, the phone could be launched early next year, and it is possible that it will come with Android 14 out of the box in that region. Samsung has promised four Android OS updates for the phone.
