Samsung is quite busy this month in rolling out the Android 14 update to several eligible phones, but it hasn't forgotten the new security update. While some phones are getting the new security update with Android 14, others are getting standalone updates. The Galaxy A53 and the Galaxy F41 are two other phones getting the November 2023 security update.
Galaxy A53 and Galaxy F41 get November 2023 security update in Latin America
The Galaxy A53 is getting a new security update in Latin American countries, including Brazil and Panama. It comes with firmware version A536EXXS7CWK3 and brings the November 2023 security patch that fixes over 65 security flaws found in the previous software. The Galaxy F41 is also getting the November 2023 security patch with firmware version F415FUBS3CWK2. The update is available in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Guatemala.
If you have a Galaxy A53 or a Galaxy F41, you can now check for the new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy A53 has already received the Android 14 update in some regions but not in Latin American countries. Hopefully, this new security update is the last minor update before the major Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update arrives. The Galaxy F41 isn't eligible to get the Android 14 update.
