One way in which Galaxy phones and tablets appeal to many people across different continents is through system language options. Although numerous Galaxy device customers prefer using their Android phones in English, One UI supports many other languages.
But what if you want to use a specific app in a different language from the one you've set for the entirety of One UI? Well, it is possible to do this, and here's how.
Customizing app languages in One UI
Android OS offers per-app language options. To access this feature on your Galaxy device, you need to open the Settings app, go to “General management,” and tap “App languages.”
Here, you will see a list of apps that support app language settings independent of the one you're using system-wide. In this list, you can select an app and choose the desired language from the list.
Oddly, even though Galaxy phones running One UI support this Android feature, there don't seem to be any proprietary Samsung apps that do. However, you will find many Google apps that support independent language settings. Some third-party apps also take advantage of this tool, but your mileage with third-party app language settings might vary.
