More renders depicting the upcoming Galaxy A15 budget phone have emerged, revealing three color options for the European market, and confirming some of the phone's design characteristics, such as the unusual side hump around the physical side buttons.
The Galaxy A15 will be available in at least three color options. One of them, blue, got exposed by a series of renders last month. Similar renders showcasing a light blue and a yellow color have now emerged (via 91mobiles).
Same as last time we saw the Galaxy A15 in leaked images, the phone sports an Infinity-U notch for the selfie camera, relatively thick bezels with an even thicker “chin,” and a flat back panel with individual circular cutouts for the three sensors and the LED flash.
These renders reconfirm that the Galaxy A15's flat frame sticks out around the side buttons. It's a new design element for lower-cost Galaxy phones set to hit the shelves in 2024 and could help differentiate Samsung's budget offerings from the Galaxy S24 series.
Galaxy A15 4G and 5G variants to look identical
According to the source, the Galaxy A15 will be released in Europe in 4G and 5G variants, depending on the market. But they will reportedly look identical in both shape and color.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A15 supposedly sports a 6.5-inch display, a MediaTek Helio G99 chip (also known as Dimensity 6100+), 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy A15's selfie camera should have a resolution of 13MP, and the rear-facing combo consists of a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP depth camera.
Editor's Note: Availability details remain to be determined, but it is worth noting that the Galaxy A14 4G and 5G went on sale three months apart.
Should Samsung follow a similar launch schedule for the Galaxy A15 4G and Galaxy A15 5G, the 5G variant might be first to the market and could go on sale in January. The 4G model could debut in March.
