Leading up to the CES 2024 expo on January 7, Samsung has unveiled three new OLED gaming monitors: Odyssey OLED G6, Odyssey OLED G8, and Odyssey OLED G9. The new lineup includes newer sizes that have been missing from Samsung's Odyssey series. The Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27-inch monitor, while the Odyssey OLED G8 is a 32-inch monitor.
All three monitors are expected to launch sometime this year.
Odyssey OLED G6
The Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) is Samsung's smallest-ever OLED gaming monitor, featuring a 27-inch QD-OLED screen with QHD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and an anti-glare coating (which Samsung calls OLED Glare-Free technology). It has the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which means it can output 400 nits of peak brightness and supports HDR gaming. It also features a 360Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time (gray-to-gray), and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification. In terms of I/O, the Odyssey G6 features two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub.
It features a slim metal stand and RGB lighting (Core Lighting+) on the rear. It has a height-adjustable stand that supports pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments.
Odyssey OLED G8
The Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD) is a 32-inch OLED gaming monitor with 4K resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 240Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Similar to the Odyssey OLED G6, the Odyssey OLED G8 has two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB Hub. It also features Multi Control, letting you transfer images and text across the monitor and connected Galaxy devices (like Galaxy Book, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy smartphone) through the same mouse and keyboard.
It has a built-in Smart Hub that supports HCA (Home Connectivity Alliance), Matter, and SmartThings. It runs Tizen and offers a UI similar to Samsung's smart TVs, offering access to audio and video streaming apps and other smart TV features. The monitor also features Samsung Gaming Hub, offering access to cloud game streaming via Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, Nvidia GeForce Now, and more. It has a stand that supports adjustments for height, pivot, swivel, and tilt.

It means you can access all audio and video streaming apps, control smart home devices (compatible with HCA, Matter, and SmartThings), and access cloud game streaming services. It has a 49-inch OLED curved screen with DQHD resolution (5,120 x 1,440 pixels), 32:9 aspect ratio, a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time (gray-to-gray), and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. It also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-free and HDR gaming.
This monitor also features Multi Control, which allows seamless transfer of images and text between the monitor and other compatible Samsung devices (Galaxy Book, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy phones) using the same mouse and keyboard across those devices. It has a height-adjustable stand that also supports pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments. The Odyssey OLED G9 has two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub.
