Just a couple of days after the Galaxy A55 was leaked, the images of the Galaxy A35 have leaked as well. The images of Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphone reveal a change in the company's design language, featuring a more modern-looking front and the distinctive ‘Key Island‘ design element.

The Galaxy A35 looks very similar to the Galaxy A55 but is missing a key feature that makes the latter more premium.

Galaxy A35 images leak, revealing ‘Key Island'

The official-looking press renders of the Galaxy A35 were published by AndroidHeadlines. The phone will be available in three colors: Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. It has an OLED screen with a punch-hole-shaped cutout for the selfie camera. This is an upgrade compared to the Galaxy A34's U-shaped notch, which looks quite dated. The bezels around the screen also seem thinner than the Galaxy A34, which is a welcome change. However, the bezels are still not symmetrical, as the bottom bezel looks slightly thicker than the bezels on the other three sides of the screen.

The Galaxy A35 seems to feature a plastic frame with a brushed metal finish, unlike what was rumored earlier. We can't spot antenna lines that are usually present on phones with a metal frame. So, it won't feel as premium as the Galaxy A55, which has a sleek metal frame. On the rear, the phone has three cameras and an LED flash. Rumors claim that the Galaxy A35 has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, which is an upgrade over the Galaxy A34's 48MP camera. It also has a 13MP selfie camera. The other two cameras might be an ultrawide unit and a macro camera.

Samsung will likely equip the Galaxy A35 with the Exynos 1480 processor, similar to the Galaxy A55. The phone likely features an in-display fingerprint reader, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and stereo speakers. It might also feature a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, but we might get more information soon.
