Galaxy A35 specs and design reconfirmed, this time by Google

Google's Play Console database has just confirmed several Galaxy A35 specifications and design choices. A new render attached to the Play Console entry showcases the usual aesthetic cues, such as the Key Island, individual camera cutouts, flat panels, and an Infinity-O display.

One other interesting thing this render seems to suggest is that the Galaxy A35 may have a more intricate back panel color scheme — a scheme that may have two finishes and would go hand-in-hand with the phone's colorful wallpaper.

But is this really the case? Or are we looking at an embellished representation of the unannounced product?

This dual-tone design element didn't show up in the live Galaxy A35 photo from the RRA, but it did show up in previously leaked renders.

This new image obtained from the Google Play Console (via MySmartPrice) shows the same dual-tone prismatic pattern as before, but really, this might be a way for Samsung to accentuate the Galaxy A35's seemingly glossy finish.

Nevertheless, if the phone has a traditional one-tone finish, you could argue this is a poor representation of the actual product, made worse by the fact that the wallpaper hints even further at prismatic light elements.

Galaxy A35 revealed specifications

Back to more important stuff, i.e., the hardware, Google's Play Console confirms that the Galaxy A35 has 8GB of RAM (5.6 – 5.7GB available), an Exynos 1380 chip, and a display boasting a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and a pixel density of 450 pixels per inch.

The Google database also confirms that the Galaxy A35 runs Android 14 out of the box. The A35 will probably ship with One UI 6.0, even though One UI 6.1 is also based on the same Android version. But Samsung may yet surprise us.

The Play Console hasn't said anything new, or at all, about the Galaxy A35's potential release date. Still, we're only a few weeks away from the Galaxy A34's first anniversary, and its sequel might be coming in March. We'll keep you posted.
