Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy M55 prices for India leak

Samsung is expected to bring the Galaxy M15 5G and the Galaxy M55 to India soon. Ahead of their official announcement, though, the pricing of those upcoming mid-range phones has leaked, giving us an early look at what to expect from them.

Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy M55 pricing in India

According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Galaxy M15 5G will be launched in India in two variants: 4GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage. The one with 4GB RAM will reportedly be priced at INR 13,499 ($162), while the one with 6GB RAM could be priced at INR 14,999 ($180). The phone will be available in three colors.

The Galaxy M55 will be launched in two colors. It could be priced at INR 26,999 ($323) for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant could be priced at INR 29,999 ($360), while the one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage could set you back by INR 32,999 ($395).

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M15 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a microSD card slot. It has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness.

It has a 13MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Android 14 OS. It will likely come with One UI 6.1 out of the box, and you can watch its features in our video below.

Galaxy M55 5G specs

The Galaxy M55 has already been launched in Brazil. It has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness in HBM mode. It has a 50MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It can record 4K 30fps videos with EIS using its front and rear primary cameras.

The upcoming mid-range phone comes equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a hybrid microSD card slot. It runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box and will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.

Samsung Galaxy M55 Cameras

The Galaxy M55 has an in-display fingerprint reader and stereo speakers. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It can reach up to 70% charge in just 30 minutes. Other features of the phone include GNSS, hybrid dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
